LDA Opinions is a research service of Wine Opinions LLC, providing quantitative and qualitative data and insights on beverage alcohol usage, attitudes, preferences, and trends among consumers between the ages of 21 – 39. For analysis and context, survey reports compare results of respondents in their 20s and 30s vs. those in their 40s and 50s.
Consumers who participate in our online surveys or focus groups are recruited directly by LDA Opinions through social media channels. They are further screened to meet qualifications and criteria set by our clients. Members of the Wine Opinions panel of high frequency wine drinkers are not included in the research conducted by LDA Opinions.
Research industry data shows that approximately 30% of online surveys are completed via smartphones. An even higher percentage of respondents under age 40 use smartphones to take surveys. LDA Opinions surveys are designed to accommodate smartphone respondents, deliver high rates of survey completion, and ensure the quality of data and insights.
Our surveys are tailored to client objectives and are “scalable” in length and fees. Respondents are recruited to match target audience definitions, category usage, and awareness or purchase of client or competitor brands.
Focus group participants are drawn from an initial “screening and issues” survey designed not only to identify the most qualified group participants but also to provide statistically significant data points on key client learning objectives.
Focus groups are fielded via Zoom conference. Video recordings and written transcripts of each group session are provided to clients, along with detailed findings from both the “screening and issues” survey and the focus group session.
